15. OFF: Sarajevo attracts many visitors, tonight screening of the movie "Grbavica."
Sarajevo is the regional center of cultural events for the third day already. The largest youth film festival in Southeast Europe – the 15th Telemach Youth Film Festival brought to the main BiH. the city of many music and film stars from the region and Europe.
The festival fever, which lasts until Saturday until late at night, has attracted thousands of visitors, and the Festival Directorate says they expect 18,000 visitors.
The city is full of people, and the festival atmosphere starts already at 12:00, when a unique meeting with Emina Smajić is scheduled in the Youth Theater as part of the OFF Talks program.
From 2:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. in the Youth Theater, viewers have the opportunity to enjoy the OFF Shorts program, after which a conversation with members of the film crew is planned, and open-air cinemas will also be showing great films tonight.
In the outdoor cinema Vils Summer Screen, a screening of the award-winning B&H film will be held. directed by Jasmila Žbanić "Grbavica", which won the "Golden Bear" award at the Berlinale festival. The film was also BH. candidate for the Oscar award, and will be shown at the Festival in the new OFF Retrospective program.
Visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to watch the Polish film "EO", which was this year's candidate for the Oscar award, in the Poli Open Air Gimnazijska open-air cinema from 21:00.
Visitors to Ilidža Open Air will be able to enjoy the German-Spanish performance "The Path" from 20:30 onwards.
