14th OFF to Open Tomorrow, Sarajevo will be in the center of film events for the next five days

Everything is ready for the 14th SARAJEVO YOUTH FILM FESTIVAL. Individual streets in Sarajevo are decorated with festival flags, so the festival spirit has already taken over the streets of Sarajevo.
The official start of the Festival is tomorrow at 19:00 when numerous film stars, guests and partners of the festival will walk the Red Carpet. The festival program opens with the Argentinian production "Sublime", which premiered at the 72nd Berlinale festival, and will be shown in three locations in Sarajevo: Youth Theater (20:00), SEAT Vils Summer Screen (21:00) and Audi Open Air Cinema Gimnazijska (21 :00h). This is only the second screening of the film before a European audience. A total of 40 films will be shown during the festival, and 12 short films from 13 countries will compete in the special competition section OFF Generation shorts for the Festival ring.
The award for the best young actor will be awarded to the star of the Netflix series "ELITE" Andre Lamoglia, who is eagerly awaiting his arrival in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and there is great interest in all the events he attends, the press service of the SARAJEVO YOUTH FILM FESTIVAL announced.
Blær Hinriksson, a young Icelandic actor born in 2001, will be presented with a special award for Best Actor for his role in "Heartstone". The audience will have the opportunity to talk with him as part of the OFF Talks program, and the popular actor will answer questions about the two films he is presenting as part of OFF Generation Features.
The OFF Plus program is particularly interesting, during which five female directors will tell five stories about the past, trauma and the relationship to the world around us.
It is already clear that the audience's favorite festival location will be the Vils Summer Screen, where all screenings are free, and the organizers of the Festival are also giving away two concerts to the audience.
On the penultimate day of the Festival, on July 22, the band SKROZ is on the schedule, while on July 23, from 10:00 p.m., the regionally known band S.A.R.S. will play. who will prepare an unforgettable closing night of the Festival for the Sarajians and the guests of the Festival.
