OFF Talks/Áskell Einar Palmason

With his first, debut role, Áskell presented himself to the audience of the 72nd Berlinale Film Festival this year.

Áskell Einar is a 16-year-old young actor from Reykjavík.

His role as Balli in "Beautiful Beings" (2022) is his debut film appearance, after which he starred in several commercials in Iceland.

As part of this year's OFF Talks program, Áskell will present the film "Beautiful Beings", which is shown as part of the official competition selection OFF Generation Feature. By the way, this film was screened as part of the 72nd Berlinale Film Festival as part of the Panorama program. The film was directed by Guðmundur Arnar Guðmundsson, who is also presenting himself at the OFF with the film "Heartsone", which is also in the OFF Generation Fature competition.
