The 4th edition of the OFF Pro Film Market will take place during the 17th Telemach Youth Film Festival Sarajevo, from July 20–23, 2025. This vibrant four-day event promises an exciting lineup, featuring a dozen works in progress at the co-production market, along with an extensive program designed to foster collaboration and innovation in the film industry. OFF Pro Film Market will feature many networking events, producer’s hub, distribution talks and master class programs.

Building on the success of previous editions, the OFF Pro Film Market continues to be a dynamic meeting point for filmmakers, producers, and industry professionals. It’s the perfect place for emerging talent to showcase their projects and for professionals to explore fresh perspectives in European cinema, focusing on shorts and new formats.

OFF Pro Film Market is the Telemach Youth Film Festival Sarajevo program intended for young film professionals. OFF Pro Film Market is held for four days as part of each edition of the Festival. It consists of a series of programs, some of which are also available to the public.  The goal of OFF’s industry program is to empower new filmmakers, especially those with debut or new projects, by offering them various benefits through the Festival’s educational and development programs.  As part of OFF Pro Film Market, the most important initiative that festival presents is OFF Co-pro + Let’s produce – a unique co-production market, intended for projects in development for short films. OFF Co-pro is also the largest co-production market for short films in the region, the only such in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a fund of over EUR 15,000.00 – in cash and in film services in all stages of production.

Co-pro pitching

Main activity of Co-pro short film market initiative is pitching in front of international jury. OFF Co-pro committee selects 20 best projects, among dozens of submitted and invite them for pitching session held in Sarajevo during the Festival. Beside the pitching OFF Co-pro market network them with international producers, sales agents, distributors as well as broadcasting and funding representatives who are actively working in international co-productions.

 

Let’s produce one2one meetings

 

New short film projects are presented and can find co-production and financing partners also through Let’s produce one2one talks where producers and authors gather by themselves. Registered industry or Festival participants interested in joining the selected projects as a co-producer or financing partner, can request 30-minute one-on-one meetings with the projects’ producers or representatives.

 

Meetings are set by Co-Production Market team in an optimised schedule. Each participant receives meeting details and schedule. The maximum co-production fund for the best project is EUR 4,000.00, this can be changed if Market board decide differ. By the jury’s decision, one project can be awarded the maximum amount. Jury is awarding 3 projects – in cash or in kind. The selection team of the Festival will select the 12 best projects that will be presented in the official OF Co-Pro market.

 

The Sarajevo Youth Film Festival will award Industry accreditations to all selected projects, i.e. their representatives, and deliver a complete plan and program of all activities. However, the Festival is not obliged to pay the travel and accommodation costs for market participants. Co-pro market is meant to be a “natural” meeting place for producers and financiers and young authors who are attending the festival to watch films, network and meet new people and extend their knowledge.
