This year’s winner of the Festival Ring for the best male role in the series is Lazar Dragojević, a young actor who became famous for his role in the series by Jasmila Žbanić “I know how you soul”. Lazar will receive the ring at the opening ceremony. In previous years, this award has gone to popular young actors from Netflix and HBO series, Damian Hardung, Andrew Lamoglia and Mattia Carran.
Lazar Dragojević is a Montenegrin actor born in 1996 in Podgorica. He graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. He has acted in several student films and theater plays as well as films and series.
His first leading role was in the 2019 film Take Me Somewhere Nice by Ene Sendijarevic, followed by roles in the film SIN by Ines Tanović, Full Moon by Nermin Hamzagić, in the Netflix series FERIA and the series THEN YOU RUN for SkyOne as well as in the series ZNAM KAKO DIŠEŠ by Jasmile Žbanić and Damir Ibrahimović, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2023.
He is the winner of the prize for outstanding artistic achievement of the National Theatre of Montenegro and the prize for the best debutant for the role of Take Me Somewhere Nice Mostar
He plays trombone, drums, piano, guitar, accordion and ukulele. He trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Capoeira and gymnastics.
