Telemach Youth Film Festival Sarajevo is now an official partner of the Clermont Film Festival and the co-production market for short films – Euro Connection.
In practice, this means that Telemach OFF will be the correspondent for submitting projects in development from Bosnia and Herzegovina for Euro Connection, which is held as part of the Clermont Film Festival.
About Euro Connection
Euro Connection is a platform for co-production of short films. This unique market, which is one of the largest in the world for short films, aims to encourage partnerships between European production companies with the aim of producing quality short film projects. The next edition will take place on February 4 and 5, 2025 in Clermont-Ferrand during the Clermont Short Film Market.
Euro Connection represents and networks on average:
12 European projects that have been selected for pitching/presentation of their projects in development
6 producers of short films who were invited as producers in focus
A total industrial audience of 150 manufacturers and production partners from Europe
Clermont has presented 136 films at its previous editions, including 74 projects as international co-productions
The call for projects for Euro Connection 2025 is now open. Production companies, i.e. producers with a registered production company based in one of the partner countries, can apply by e-mail no later than October 20, 2024 to the national correspondent in their country.
Projects must meet the following criteria to be eligible:
The project is a short film (animation, feature, creative documentary)
The application is submitted by a company based in one of the partner countries.
The duration of the film does not exceed 30 minutes.
The project must have partial funding* secured from an external source.
The project is conceived as an international co-production
Filming or production will begin no later than June 2025
Starting this year, projects under development from Bosnia and Herzegovina can also apply.
The application form must be downloaded from this link and sent to market@omladinski.ba, filled in and in accordance with the conditions and rules of participation.
*Each producer applying with a project must send their application to the correspondent in their country, in the case of Bosnia and Herzegovina it is the Telemach Youth Film Festival Sarajevo.
The deadline for submitting projects is October 20, 2024. The results of the final selected projects will be published by December 2, 2024.
