Film Sublime, from the official selection of the 72nd Berlinale, opens the 14th OFF

Argentine film "Sublime", which was shown as part of the Generation 14plus program, 72nd Berlinale, will open this year's edition of the Sarajevo Youth Film Festival

"Sublime" director Mariano Biasin won the hearts of the audience at this year's Berlin Film Festival and is certainly one of the generational films that are important for the society and social processes we are going through. It is a story of friendship, love, courage. Strong drama, full of feelings and not at all a simple story.

The film tells the story of Manuel (16) living in a small coastal town. He plays bass in a band with his best friends. One of them is Felipe, with whom he has a strong friendship since he was a child. Manuel is dating Azul, a relationship they are intensively investigating. But when it comes time to be together for the first time, Manuel feels something completely new that makes him see Felipe with different eyes. The routine situations of that friendship change the tenor. Manuel tries to find out if the impulse is mutual. The challenge is not to jeopardize the friendship. Something that inevitably ends up on testing.
